Candesic is co-owned by partners of Brookstreet and hence it is involved early in our deal lifecycle. Candesic advises Portfolio and Boards and their senior partners invested in our funds.

The British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) is the industry body and public policy advocate for the private equity and venture capital industry in the UK. For more than three decades it has represented the industry and delivered authoritative research and analysis, proprietary publications, specialist training, topical conferences and best practice standards. Membership comprises more than 700 influential firms, including over 300 private equity and venture capital houses, as well as institutional investors, professional advisers, service providers and international associations.

The Hellenic Initiative

Brookstreet joined the efforts of The Hellenic Initiative (THI) as Corporate Ambassador. The Hellenic Initiative was founded in 2012 by members of the global Greek and philhellene communities who were compelled to respond to the worsening economic crisis and inspired to help shape Greece’s long-term recovery. THI is a global and accountable organisation with a wide Board of Directors which includes, amongst others, activists (President Bill Clinton), philanthropists (Marianna Vardinogiannis) and philhellenes (Princess Tatiana), so you can donate with trust. 

HarvardAE

The Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs “HarvardAE” is an international non-profit organization with 20 chapters around the world, connecting over 18,500 alumni, faculty, students, and friends, from across the university and around the globe. HarvardAE chapters across the globe provide a rich tapestry of resources tailored to support and elevate alumni entrepreneurs and innovators. HarvardAE is financially self-sustaining and does not receive any funding from Harvard University.

EENE

The Hellenic Association of Entrepreneurs was established in Athens in 1987 and consists of a significant number of more than 200 dynamic Greek entrepreneurs who are active and key players in the Greek and international market in a wide range of important industries. Their principal aim is to support and foster entrepreneurship in Greece through constructive dialogue and engagement with: the country’s political leaders, the society, the growing community of young and startup entrepreneurs, as well as significant opinion makers.

Archimedes

ARCHIMEDES is a vibrant research hub connecting the global AI and Data Science research community, fostering groundbreaking research in Greece and beyond. Its dedicated core team, comprising lead researchers, affiliated researchers, Post-Docs, PhDs, and interns, is committed to advancing basic and applied research in Artificial Intelligence and its supporting disciplines, including Algorithms, Statistics, Learning Theory, and Game Theory, organized around six core research areas. By collaborating with Greek and foreign universities and research institutes, ARCHIMEDES disseminates its research findings, fostering knowledge exchange and providing enriching opportunities for students. Leveraging AI to address realworld challenges, ARCHIMEDES promotes innovation within the Greek ecosystem and extends its societal impact. Established in January 2022 as a research unit of the Athena Research Center with support from the Committee Greece 2021, ARCHIMEDES is funded for its first four years by the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) .

Athena - Research and Innovation Center in Information, Communication, and Knowledge Technologies (Athena RC) is a prominent research institution based in Marousi, Athens. Governed by the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation of the Ministry of Development, Athena RC was established under the provisions of Law 2919/2001 and operates under subsequent amendments. Its mission is to advance scientific and technological research in key areas such as Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), with specific focus on linguistic technology, industrial systems technology, educational and cultural technologies, biomedical information technology, space technologies, and climate information technologies. Athena RC is committed to the development and application of innovative systems, prototypes, and services that address the needs of both the public and private sectors. It collaborates extensively with higher education institutions, research centers, and private enterprises, fostering a dynamic environment for cutting-edge research and technological advancements.

United Nations-supported PRI

The United Nations-supported PRI is the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment. It works to understand the investment implications of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors, and to support its international network of investor signatories in incorporating these factors into their investment and ownership decisions. The PRI acts in the long-term interests of its signatories, the financial markets and economies in which they operate, and ultimately, the environment and society as a whole. The PRI comprises of 5,500+ members, managing $121+ trillion of assets.
