Welcome to

Brookstreet is an award-winning, commercially-focused investor and an international platform. Our thesis is based on investing in Digital (AI) Transformation, Green Transition, and Longevity Scale Ups. We are headquartered in London’s Mayfair and operate globally with partners, assets, and investors in the USA, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

Our History

Our roots date back to a Mayfair-based family office with global and diverse interests. We invested, scaled up, divested and institutionalised family firms, including our own. We capitalise entrepreneurial leaders to become national champions and international players.

The firm was founded by M&A, PEVC, McKinsey and CEO veterans after a joint deal that made us 57x our money. Our respective family offices have global interests in USA, UK and Europe and together we developed Brookstreet Equity Partners.

Our Founder and Managing Partner, Omiros, dedicates the firm’s entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and determination to the enduring heritage of our beloved friend, mentor, and co-Founder, George V. Bolos (GVB). George is survived by his two wonderful daughters, Linda and Natalia. The latter, after studying in France and gaining extensive experience as a Capital Markets banker at the DCM Desk of Natixis France, has returned to our team after earning her own stripes, as our Sustainability Officer. Natalia’s outstanding achievements continue to honor the legacy of GVB.

Origins

The Tickethour/Ticketmaster Deal

George V. Bolos and Omiros D. Sarikas came together many years ago and had a meeting of minds to scale up firms in asymmetric markets. George, having served as CEO in multinationals and then as General Manager at the Athens Olympic Games 2004, has interests in ventures such as including Tickethour, a ticketing company. Omiros was the deal architect to Tickethour where George acted as Chairman and co-Founder. They worked hand in hand to structure, position and sell the business to Ticketmaster/Live Nation (NYSE:LYV). This was a full cross-border exit to the No1 player in the sector and a landmark transaction for the under-valued Hellenic ecosystem. The deal made phenomenal returns to the investor/owner and proved that money will be made (despite all macro economic factors) when one applies discipline and sound economic fundamentals.

Brook Street

Brookstreet Equity Partners LLP traces its origins back to 42 Brook Street, Mayfair, where founders Omiros Sarikas and George V. Bolos first established their firm. From its inception as a family investment office, it has evolved into a prominent player in the financial landscape, now headquartered at Berkeley Square (again at 42), just around the corner from its original location.

Since its founding, Brookstreet has expanded rapidly, establishing global interests across Europe and the USA, and gaining recognition as an FCA-registered investor.

42 Brook Street holds significant historical and cultural significance as the former residence of notable figures such as the 1st Greek Citizen (Ambassador) to the Court of St James, Nobel Laureate George Seferis, and a hub for the shipping community famously commemorated at Claridges. It is here that Brookstreet Equity Partners was born, continuing to build on its legacy of financial stewardship and entrepreneurial success.

George V. Bolos Heritage

George, a seasoned entrepreneur and C-level executive, co-founded Tickethour and served as its Chairman before orchestrating, with Omiros, its acquisition by Ticketmaster (LiveNation, NYSE, 2016 MK $5.4 billion), achieving an impressive 57x return on his initial equity investment. Together, they founded Brookstreet.

His distinguished career includes roles such as Senior Vice President at Eurosport's President's Office and General Director of the Athens Olympic Games 2004, where he received the Olympic Order Award from the President of the International Olympic Committee, Count Jacques Rogge. George also held positions as CEO of Continent Hellas within the Carrefour Group and CEO of Corina Foods within the PepsiCo Group. His career began at Nestle following his studies at Northeastern University.

Transitioning his interests to his Family Office, George remains integral to the heritage of Brookstreet Equity Partners and continues to inspire entrepreneurial success. His impactful CEO journey spans leadership roles managing thousands of employees in multinational corporations and pioneering "Founder Stories," successfully scaling startups and orchestrating their acquisition by public listed companies.

Brookstreet is honored to sponsor the first prize of the GetEnvolved Entrepreneurship Awards in memory of George V. Bolos (GVB), celebrating his legacy and accomplishments. George was not only my co-founder but also a mentor, friend and spiritual father, with a moral compass. Though we deeply miss him, we are committed to perpetuating his legacy. It is with immense joy that we welcome his daughters, Linda and Natalia (who traveled from Paris), to present this award in his honour. May his legacy, and this award, ignite inspiration among entrepreneurs world-wide.
