Founding Member and Managing Partner

Coming from a line of Greek Minor Asia entrepreneurs, Omiros focused in the art of deal making and entrepreneurial leadership from an early age. He has had an American and English secondary education (ACS, Tasis), trained at IVY League and Russel Group business schools (Harvard, LBS, LSE, CBS) and admitted to professional bodies (CISI, BVCA, WCIB). He worked in London, Zurich, and New York,where he completed landmark engagements for funds and investments banks.



Founding (Non-Executive) Member, C-Level Exec, Manager and Entrepreneur

Seasoned entrepreneur and C-level executive, George is a Founding Partner and formerly Chairman of Tickethour which was acquired by the world leader in the sector (Ticketmaster: LiveNation, NYSE, 2016 MK $5.4 billion), which he positioned and sold with Omiros. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President at the President's Office of Eurosport and before that as General Director of the Athens Olympic Games 2004 where he was decorated with the Olympic Order Award by the President of the International Olympic Committee, Count Jacques Rogge. Prior, he was the CEO of Continent Hellas of Carrefour Group and before that the CEO of Corina Foods of PepsiCo Group. He started his career with Nestle after studies at Northeastern University.


Investment Strategy & Due Diligence

Leonid is the Managing Partner and founder of Candesic, a leading European advisory for PE/VC with over 200 deals track record. His personal experience involves over 70 engagements. Leonid works for over a decade now with PEVC firms advising their Investment Teams. Clients include global funds (like Bain, BC Partners) and family offices. A number of PEVC engagements were done together with Omiros. He previously worked at McKinsey & Company, specializing in private equity strategy. Leonid’s entrepreneurial ventures include being the COO of a $126m software company and the CEO of a telecommunications firm. He holds an MD from Duke University, a PhD from Oxford University and a BA from Cornell University. He trained in Corporate Finance at the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).


Origination Management

Konstantinos worked at Kantor, the leading local advisory (formerly Booz & Co. affiliate), where he focused on corporates and privatizations for the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (TAIPED). Konstantinos specializes in strategic origination, business analysis, modelling, financial due diligence and valuations. He collaborated on sell/buy-side engagements with Deloitte and the Investment Bank of Greece. Prior to that, he was a Financial Analyst at Nestle. He is an alumnus of the University of Piraeus (MBA) and London Business School (MiF), where he was mentored by Omiros. He trained in PEVC at the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA).


Risk Management

Davinia has over 20 years of experience in the global Alternative Funds and Corporate Trust industries with particular experience in Real Estate (RE) and Private Equity (PE). Davinia has held regulated positions in the UK, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar, and the BVI and was most recently a Strategic Relationship DIrector and Head of Cayman Islands at Alter Domus. Prior she held roles with Lloyds Bank and Computershare. She has extensive experience on PE and M&A including Palamon's acquisitions (e.g. The Rug Company, Happy Socks, Il Bisonte) and Macquarie's acquisition of Green Investment Bank and the Nat Grid gas lines. Davinia has also sat on a number of RE Boards including regulated Jersey Funds, the GP of 22 Bishopsgate the tallest tower in the City of London and the Acquisition Board of Pinewood Studios.

Financial Analysis

Konstantinos serves as a Financial Analyst contributing in corporate asset reviews supporting financial and valuation modelling. Prior to joining Brookstreet he worked for a London based family office evaluating hedge fund investments and before that gained experience at Eurobank Asset Management, the leading mutual fund and institutional asset management company in Greece. He holds a BSc from the University of Piraeus and an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School. Konstantinos is a Member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute.

Stephen has over 40 years experience in Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Fund Management. He has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gerrard Investment Management, Oppenheimer International and Narodny Bank/VTB Capital where he became Chairman. He spent 27 years at NWB Group holding senior executive positions. He is a Non Executive Director of Nutmeg, Access Bank UK and a NHS Trust.


Advisor, Venture Capital

Pierre was global co-Head at Deutsche Bank Ventures and held senior management positions in the bank. He acquired with his partners ABS Ventures (DB`s venture portfolio) and was responsible for building up several global leaders such as RiskMetrics, Adeptra, Trema in the FinTech space and to deliver high returns (46-48% IRR) to his investors. He is a Managing Partner of Acorus Capital and an alumnus of the University of Trier.

Christos is CEO of Pireaus, the largest bank in Greece. A senior international banker who has worked with Barclays in Athens and London, Credit Suisse in London, managed Eurobank Ergasias SA and was senior advisor to Fairfax Financial Holdings. Christos was Chief Executive Officer of Eurobank Ergasias SA, Chairman of the Executive Board of Eurobank Ergasias SA and Vice Chairman of Board of Eurolife, the insurance arm of Eurobank Ergasias SA.

Panos is the Head of EY Greece. Having joined Ernst & Young in 1988, Panos is the Country's Managing Partner since July 2010. He also holds the role of the CSE South Cluster Leader (since January 2011) and CSE Markets Leader (since January 2015). His technical experience spans a wide range of services, including audits, privatisations, IPOs, placements, and European Commission funded projects. Panos is a Member of the BoD at the American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, a Member of the Institute of Economic and Industrial Research, the Greek CEO Club and Endeavor Greece.

Konstantinos Macheras, former CEO of AB Vassilopoulos, joins Brookstreet Equity Partners LLP as CEO-in-Residence Advisor. Mr Macheras took AB Vassilopoulos from 15 stores and a turnover of $117m to 330 stores and a turnover of $2billion. Konstantinos Macheras is the President of the Institute of Retail Consumer Goods and Former EVP of Delhaize Group & CEO of Southeastern Europe and Asia. Previously he served for 14 years at Mars Inc. in Holland, Greece and Italy. He holds a BSc from Piraeus and an MBA from Roosevelt University of Chicago. Mr Macheras was named Officer in the order of King Leopold II by the King of Belgium Albert II.

Shacolas (Holdings) Limited. He has been an Executive Chairman of Cyprus Trading Corporation Plc since April 28, 2015 and served as its Chairman since June 2014. He serves as an Executive Non-Independent Director of Woolworth (Cyprus) Properties Public Ltd. He serves as a Director of MTN and other companies. He serves as Executive Director of Ermes Department Stores Plc. He served as Non Executive Director of ITTL Trade Tourist and Leisure Park Plc until July 23, 2015. Mr. Shacolas studied Business Administration in the USA, where he also obtained a post-graduate degree.

(NASDAQ:SBLK), having served in the past as the company’s CEO.  He has been President of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges, Chairman and CEO of the Athens Exchange, Executive Chairman of National Bank of Greece and VP at Bankers Trust Company in NY, Paris, Milan, London and Athens. He is serving on the BoD of Euroclinic (Chairman) and of GEK Terna. Mr. Capralos has been awarded the Olympic Order and the Order of merit by the Republic of Azerbaijan. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Athens and an MBA from INSEAD.

Dimitrios is a seasoned private equity professional, with 15+ years experience in SME investing. He spent 9 years in Barclays Ventures (Barclays' captive lower mid-market fund) lately as the Portfolio Director.  In 2011 he co-founded Encore Capital, a London-based firm investing in entrepreneurial growth businesses.  Dimitrios is advising Brookstreet on CEE matters.  Dimitrios holds degrees from Imperial College, London and the University of Macedonia, Greece and is a CFA Charterholder.

Andreas is an established Board level Executive and Advisor, with over fifteen years experience in leading transformations.  He was a Senior Director with AlixPartners and prior to that, he was with Ernst & Young and A.T. Andreas is an alum of Rotterdam School of Management, a Fellow of the European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals and an accredited member of the Institute for Turnaround.

Nicholas G. Karambelas is a founding partner of Sfikas & Karambelas, LLP and practices in United States with correspondent offices in Greece and Cyprus. He practices in the areas of business organization, law of investments, international trade and e-commerce. He has written numerous articles on commerce and Hellenic investments including the Comparative Guide to Business Entities in Greece for USA investors and the Guide to Legal Aspects in United States for Foreign Investors. He has also authored a three-volume treatise entitled “Limited Liability Companies: Law, Practice and Forms”. Mr. Karambelas holds a Juris Doctor from Fordham University Law School and a Masters from Columbia University. Philip started his career as an investment advisor and restructuring consultant with experience in Europe and the former Soviet Union since 1992. As a Consultant at Kienbaum Development Services (KDS), the non-EU branch of Kienbaum und Partner he was based in Dusseldorf, Germany and worked on projects in Cyprus, Czech Republic and Zambia. In 1995, he co-founded Navigator Consulting Group, specialising in business restructuring and corporate growth. In 2010, co-founded Navigator's business incubator, and is actively working as a business angel and accelerator for tech sector entrepreneurs both within Navigator as well as external partners. Currently a Managing Director of the European Consulting Network, a Managing Partner of Navigator Consulting Group and Numenor Capital Partners in Cyprus as well as the former Team Coordinator for Greece at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He holds a Bachelor's at Princeton (A.B.), and read HRM management at Cornell and Fintech at Oxford.

Marianna has 25 years of professional experience, ten of which have been within Global Banking Custodians and Financial Service providers in Europe. Born in Greece, she read Accounting & Finance at the American College of Greece and started her career at SPIE BATIGNOLLES, a member of the JV project for the Olympic Metro and then moved to BNP Paribas Securities Services and worked in Greece, France and Belgium. In 2005 she moved to the UK and successfully completed executive roles within Morgan Stanley, as Manager of Client Service Corporate Actions Division, in Risk Metrics International Proxy Voting Services, as Executive Relationship Manager and finally in JP Morgan Chase, as Head of the Client Relationship Team, EMEA Region, Worldwide Securities Services.

Following her family move to Doha in 2009, she has since advised Qatar Government and Private Institutions in organisational and growth projects. As a Managing Consultant of Black Leaf Qatar, a niche consultancy and advisory firm based in Doha, she is responsible for Strategic Business Development, Project Assurance and Stakeholder Management.

Mahmoud is General Manager and Head of the Investment Banking & Corporate Finance Division at Arab African International Bank (AAIB). He has 30 years experience in investment banking and corporate finance. Mahmoud holds a BA in Business from Cairo University, an MA in Banking and Finance from the University of Wales, and an MPA from the American University of Cairo and trained at Harvard.
