Mahmoud El Sakka Joins Brookstreet

Mahmoud is General Manager and Head of the Investment Banking & Corporate Finance Division at Arab African International Bank (AAIB). He has 30 years experience in investment banking and corporate finance.

Mahmoud is a board member of the Egyptian Credit and Risk Association (ECRA) and the former Chairman. He is also a Member of The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt and the former Chairman of The Egyptian Match Co. During the last thirty years, he gained a wide span of experience in financing activities including but not limited to syndicated loans, project finance and structured finance as well as investment banking and corporate finance activities such as mergers & acquisitions, valuations, bond issuance, securitization, long-term equity portfolio management and advisory services. Moreover, Mahmoud has been honoured by the British Council to be on the judgment panel for its Alumni Award Program. Under his leadership, AAIB has won the best investment bank in Egypt by Global Finance Magazine for three times in a row.

Mahmoud holds a BA in Business from Cairo University, an MA in Banking and Finance from the University of Wales, and an MPA from the American University of Cairo and trained at Harvard.
