Nicolas A. Vernicos Joins Brookstreet as EIR.

Nicolas A. Vernicos, a well-known philanthropist and entrepreneur, is the president of the International Chamber of Commerce and member of the Board of Directors for the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Public Power Corporation and National Museum of Contemporary Art. He also serves as Vice President of the Vernicos Yachts S.A. and Eurocorp Financial Services S.A, while being a Member of the Board of Directors at Global Investment Services.

In addition to his business activities, Mr Vericos is very active in the sectors of culture and environment. He is today Director of the National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens and has served as Member of the Board of The Hellenic Society for the Protection of the Environment and the Cultural Heritage, The Association for the Creation of a New Building for National Opera and “Maria Callas” Academy and CEREC, Comite pour le Rapprochement de l’ Economie er de la Culture at Brusssels. He also is Founding Chairman of the Kastella Centre of Contemporary Art in Piraeus.

Mr Nicolas A. Vernicos born in Athens in 1945 originates from the island of Sifnos in the Cyclades of the Aegean sea. He has a M.Sc. in Economics from the Athens University of Economics (ASOEE).
