Leonid is a Partner at Brookstreet as well as the Managing Partner and founder of Candesic, a leading European advisory for PE/VC with over 500 deals and engagements track record for all the major PEVC funds see our Partners Page for Candesic credentials . Brookstreet does investments and Candesic is our internal consulting and strategy house. The synergies of the two are quite unique. Leonid works for over a decade now with PEVC firms advising their Investment Teams. Clients are mainly institutional global funds (like Blackstone, KKR, CVC, Bain, BC Partners). His personal experience involves over 200 engagements. A number of PEVC engagements were done together with Omiros. He previously worked at McKinsey & Company, specializing in private equity strategy. Leonid’s entrepreneurial ventures include being a Founder of Candesic (with £10 billion worth of deals track record), COO of a $126m software company and the CEO of a telecommunications firm. Leonid is both an IV League and Oxbridge graduate. He holds an MD from Duke University, a PhD from Oxford University and a BA from Cornell University. He trained in Corporate Finance at the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).
